The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) continues to support projects that enhance the health of California’s landscapes and forests. Since 2017, CAL FIRE has awarded over $700 million in Forest Health grants, and now applications are open for the next round of funding. A total of $70 million is available to support projects focused on preventing wildfires, increasing reforestation efforts, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. For more information on the applicatio
