Bobcat vs. Gator! Our Florida panther biologists use camera traps to monitor and assess the prevalence of feline leukomyelopathy (FLM), a neurological disorder documented in both bobcats and panthers. While these cameras are placed with the intent of identifying animals affected by FLM, the cameras record all of the other healthy animals (and their dinner!) that pass by.
