Our New Standard 427ci LS Short Block We’d been using the Dart SHP Pro LS Next block but these won’t be available for a long time and that's OK. No one has a longer history with the LS Next SHP block than us. Dart’s late founder Richard Maskin personally presented us the first commercial block in February of 2016 and we just now bought a bunch of them. Our new standard short block design features upgrades to main studs from bolts for more precise clamping plus machining for half-inch head studs.
