During their pregnancy, Sarah and Kyle Stark were informed their baby had developed congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM), a birth defect where a cystic mass grows on the lung. If left untreated the lesion on their son’s lungs may cause recurrent respiratory infections or disease. Sarah and Kyle Stark worked with a team of highly trained experts at the Midwest Fetal Care Center throughout her pregnancy to confirm the findings and develop a treatment plan.
