Perth listeners will experience a major improvement in audio quality when the network's three AM stations move to FM in 2026. ABC AM services will continue in regional and remote WA areas. "It'll be a big strong transmission, coming in at 100 kilowatts. We will be the most powerful FM service in Western Australia," Danielle Benda, #ABCRadioPerth Local Manager, told Nadia Mitsopoulos.
