A new rover design for the 2024 university rover challenge | Space and Technology

The most Mars-like terrain on earth happens to be just 200 miles south of BYU. In early June, BYU engineering students and undergrads from universities representing 10 countries traveled to the rocky, harsh terrain of the Mars Desert Research Station near Hanksville, Utah, to participate in the University Rover Challenge. BYU's Mars Rover Team finished in the top 10 out of 100 original entrants in the University Rover Challenge. While the BYU Mars Rover is not the Perseverance Rover built by NAS
