There was a happy ending for a endangered female Asian giant softshell turtle that was hooked by villagers in Stung Treng province Mr. Khin Many, the head of the fishing community at O’Chralang, O’Mreah village, confirmed that the 34kg turtle was caught by fisherman Sot Thorin when by using a fishing rod to catch fish on October 2, at the head of Koh Chheuteal Toch, O’Chrom village, O’Mreah commune, Siem Bok district Stung Treng | Khmer Times
